Be a Student in Philanthropy
Students in Philanthropy (SIP) exists to lead students into the world empowered and prepared to meet the needs of their community through philanthropic (time, talent, treasure) actions.
SIP participants grow in critical thinking, servant heartedness, communication, and collaboration skills by researching community needs, understanding roles of nonprofits, volunteering, advocating, donating, fundraising, and grant-making, inspiring a lifetime of service.
Students participating in community service programs are shown to:
- Learn teamwork
- Develop self-confidence
- Gain new perspectives
- Lead healthier lives
- Perform better in school
- Improve employability
